Hello, Im Craig and welcome to another episode of Football Kit Memories - the football podcast that gets under the shirt.

Today I meet Guardian Sport Writer & Editor as well as host of the FANS Podcast, Sachin Nakrani.

In our chat we cover Sachin’s long career at the paper he joined in 2007, how during that period his role has changed and he pulls back the curtain on the process behind writing the obituary of the eternal Diego Maradona.

Later I asked Sachin to pick out three of his favourite football shirts and tell me a little bit about what they mean to him. Clearly the 90s represents the peak of Sachin’s football shirt fandom as his choices rather nicely span the full decade. Roger Milla’s Cameroon kicks us off at Italia 90, Stan Collymore’s Liverpool sees us through the half time whistle and the ref blows for full time following Milan’s Scudetto winning Adidas and   Opel classic from 98/99.
