Welcome back to episode #288! In case you haven't realized it yet, relationships are by far the most important thing in our life. And relationships, just like business, take intentional effort, time and attention. And with that being said, I think this quote fits perfectly..."Rome wasn't built in a day... but it was worked on everyday."

The first step to making our relationships the best they can be is work. So on today's episode of the podcast, I want to share with you about the 5 love languages and what steps I have taken to strengthen the relationships with those most important to me. (Trust me, this will overflow into your business too, whether it be relationships with your team, your clients, etc).

“I haven’t been as focused on trying to improve there…” At minute 2:53, I’m going to dive much deeper into personal than I will business but if you are thinking this won’t help your business, you couldn’t be more wrong.  It is so important that things at home are great so that it doesn’t negatively impact what we’ve got going on in our business. Hear why I rarely have outside areas of my life in my top 3 goals and why it brings me guilt.

“A score to tell me if I was hitting out of the ballpark or barely making it...” At 6:51 I was at a Tony Robbins event and I purchased some of his audio programs including one on relationships. I thought I didn’t need the program, but I could think of other people that did.  I came home on a mission to fully engage and make sure that I do everything I can to keep that love growing.

“His love tank will slowly start to empty…” At minute 15:17 I’m sharing my insights on the book, The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. My husband and I both took their short quiz to find our love languages and I’m telling you why this was SO powerful for us.

“I was too busy to play and she knew that…” At 20:23 I share how kids are the same way as adults. They have love tanks and certain things they appreciate more and it’s important to again make sure you are doing all 5 but find out what makes them feel the most loved. I did an activity with my kids and I’m sharing that with you plus a big realization I had.

I now realize that there are so many things we as a family can be improving on, which will lead into other positive results in other areas including business! If you loved this episode, leave a podcast review and share your feedback and be sure to tag me on Instagram, @stacytuschl!
