This week we bring the chocolate chip decadent perfection in the form of a cookie that requires no sharing. We have found the mother-load! After searching and searching we find a CopyCat recipe for the famous DoubleTree Hotel Cookies that completely blew us away! We start start up a second podcast called Food and Fury Snackzeroth Edition. This new snack sized gaming podcast is focused on a great snacks for gamers who enjoy IP’s from Blizzard Entertainment. In the midst of the excitement, MH finds a way to lock out his Twitter Account. Rachel surprises us with Frito Lay limited edition chips and we have thoughts.
We discuss Vending Machines for Steaks, a NYC Pizza shop on sale on Craigslist, 15 Bizarre Food Combos People On Twitter Actually Swear By, and of course a Buzzfeed Quiz to determine which side of the force we belong on. MH reminisces about making two chocolate cookie disasters on separate occasions. 1/2 cup (2 ounces) old fashioned oats – grounded in food processor 2 ¼ (11.25 ounces) cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon table salt ¼ teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup (2 sticks or 8 ounces) butter, at room temperature ¾ cup (5.25 ounces) brown sugar, packed ¾ cup (5.25 ounces) granulated sugar 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla ½ teaspoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed 2 eggs, at room temperature 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 ½ cups walnuts, chopped
