(Fish & Chips Part Two)

In our second half of Fish & Chips we explore French Fries and a Garlic Aioli. We take the dive into what we think are some truly great recipes for this iconic meal. This week we put together a great french fry recipe and try out two different garlic aioli. Those of you with a immersion blender will laugh when you see how easy it is to make your very own homemade aioli. If you’re going old school, you’ll appreciate watching the emulsion come together by hand. When those GBD (Golden Brown & Delicious) French Fries make their way out of the pot and into your plate, you will be changed forever! This week’s recipe combined with last week’s will make for a meal not to forget!

We discuss ‘grilled’ cheese, Christie Golden and our love of WoW, and an amazing method of keeping raw eggs safe while making for a great Aioli and some addicting French Fries. We discuss Burger King playing Toto’s Africa non stop in one of their restaurants because of a tweet, the Pixar Short Bao and the creator’s family recipe with illustrations, and conduct a buzzfeed quiz indicating our emotional age by our buzzfeed burger choices. ML has some frustrations with emulsions and we’re still baffled. We answer questions on cooking with an air fryer and ! Say goodbye to the fear of making your own mayonnaise and french fries… Go forth and show Fries and Aioli who’s boss! So gather your sword and board and enter the kitchen with Food and Fury!
