We have a powerful God, but we are also part of a spiritual battle. The angel was delayed three weeks getting to Daniel to answer his request. Spiritual conflict is real. God is not subject to the conflict, but because God continues to give us the freedom to choose, evil has a place in our world. And the consequences of evil are real. Trust God and persist. God will prevail, but often we have to work through difficulties because of the evil in our world. Don't underestimate it, but trust God.
