Have you ever served as a legal representative of someone else?   When you represent someone, you act in their place. An ambassador is an official representative who has been given power to act on behalf of the one they represent.   The apostle Paul says "we are ambassadors for Christ." That doesn't exclude you. He's our example. Paul is asking the Corinthians to be reconciled to God. They will become ambassadors. Paul skipped back to the appeal. "Step into this role Corinthians."   We have the same opportunity. We have Paul's letter. Would you be reconciled to God? Would you take part in the ministry of reconciliation. Throughout this passage, Paul uses "us" to mean he and his people, but I also believe it means all of us who follow Jesus. We can step into this role.   Think about that for a minute. You have been given the power and authority to represent God in this world. God is still very involved, but he's given each of us the opportunity to step into the role of reconciler.   We're coming up on Christmas. I praise God for you and I prayed for you. May God bless you in this season and in the new year. Thank you for considering how you can walk in the ministry God has given you.
