How often do you give God the credit for your accomplishments?   "Daniel answered before the king and said... However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries and He has made known... what will take place in the latter days." Daniel 2:27-28   I wonder if God selected Daniel because he knew Daniel would get the story straight? I also wonder if God doesn't choose me sometimes because I'll take the credit instead of giving it to God. This isn't about God's pride, but it's about his strategy of saving everyone who will call on his name (Romans 10:13 and Joel 2:32)   Does God trust you that way? Could it be that we see God less because we see God less? What if we looked harder? What if we trusted more?   Daniel stated very clearly that the God of the Jews made this vision known to him. Do we give God credit for the things we think, say or do? Or do we take the credit?   I believe I need to give God more credit, not less. I want my whole life to point people to God. I experience joy when I see God working. And I'll take as much joy as I can get right now.   What is the Holy Spirit telling you as you hear this?
