Episode 001: How to play Fantasy Football / Glossary of Terms
What is fantasy football?
Draft a team – a player can only be on one team at a time
Set a starting lineup – (except for best ball leagues) only points for these players count (sometimes bench points are a tie-breaker as well)
Players accumulate points in relation to their performance / stats (i.e. yards, touchdowns, field goals, etc.)
Manage a team throughout the NFL season – you typically keep a majority of the players you drafted all year long, unless you trade them to other teams
Pick up undrafted players week-by-week to upgrade your team
Play head-to-head matchups (or rotisserie scoring) against another person’s team
