This week on The Green Room, Josh Parish and Lachie Flannigan are here to take a bit of a deep dive into the youth set-up at the club.

The duo kicked things off by chatting to young defender Ben Collins, who joined them fresh from his club debut in the FFA Cup against Wellington.

The 21 year-old talked about his experience of pulling on a green and black jumper for the first time, playing alongside Nikolai Topor-Stanley, his barnstorming (but sadly curtailed) NPL3 campaign and how his Dad helped a love for football.

There's also a wider look over the club's burgeoning youth setup when Academy Director Anthony Frost joins the program (28.07).  Not only is Anthony a new face at the club, but he's the first Academy Director in the history of the club.

It's a big role - and not one that Frost takes lightly. Here, he discusses his vision for the club's youth set-up, his coaching philosophy, how the club are trying to build a youth academy that represents the West of Melbourne, youth expansion plans for 2022, and some of the exciting young talent already coming through the club.
