For the past ten years, Jen Ripple has been living a changed life since she walked into a fly shop to learn how to tie flies. It was that class that made her fall in love with all things fly. Jen has learned a lot since that first time, but what she quickly discovered is that women are not new to this sport at all. Going all the way back to the 1490’s, Jen learned that women were writing books, tying flies, and had the grit needed in the early days to stand proud and hold very prominent places in fly fishing history. With DUN Magazine Jen hopes to introduce you to the history makers of today, amazing women from everyday life that are out there fishing and are gritting it out on our waterways. Come and listen to history newly realized now unfolding before your ears and eyes. Oh, and stay til the end to hear why we titled this podcast “The Ripple Effect”. It’ll make you smile.   Guest: Jen Ripple Bio: Jen is the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of the international fly fishing lifestyle magazine, DUN Magazine.
