In this episode the Fly-Fishing Insider Podcast Greg speaks with Henry Cowen the guide who helped create, prefect and promote the Stillwater striper fishery, in the southern USA. Henry also mentions his newly published book and the history of striper fishing in the southern USA.

Greg and Henry jump right in to Henrys start and journey into fly fishing as well as the early days for heading south and learning to striper fish on the fly. Henry tell us all about how he used to hang at  the bait shops and ask the locals about this fishery, then he met his “Stillwater fly fishing striper “ mentor who excelled his learning curve. 

Later in this episode we learn from Henry that his newly written book covers many how tos tips and more on this fishery. We also learn that his good Friend “Lefty” had asked him to write this book as there is industry demand to learn about striper Fishing in Stillwater’s.
