While John is perhaps best known for his work with the band King Missile, which he co-founded In 1986, he began his career In The lower east side poetry scene of the early 1980s, and he continues to write and perform. On Thursday, June 20, He’ll be performing a couple of poems at the Jim Kempner Fine Art gallery I New York, with Susan Hwang on ukelele and Lynn Bechtold on violin. And on July 6, He’ll be doing a performance at Two Bridges Luncheonette.
