Welcome to Fluxedo Junction! Each week we bring you the best music of all genres from throughout the world, and this week we'll be speaking with guitarist and composer Steve Hackett. Steve is renowned as an immensely talented and innovative rock musician. He was lead guitarist with Genesis as part of their classic line up with Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and mike Rutherford, that produced acclaimed albums such as Selling England By The Pound (a favorite of John Lennon). Steve's extraordinary versatility in both his guitar playing and composing reflects his influences from many genres including Classical, Jazz, World Music, and Blues, and has led him to post Genesis collaborations with Steve Howe, Paul Carrick, Bonny Tyler, John Wetton, Chris Squire, and Brian Mat.

Steve also continues to have a busy solo career - his latest album, Under A Mediterranean Sky, is an extraordinary musical journey, painting vivid images of stunning landscapes and celebrating the diverse cultures of the region.
