Gawler and Districts Softball Association President Veg Ingram appeared on the Flow Friday Sports Show to unpack the latest round of finals from across the mounds.
Four of the seven games played last weekend went down to the wire in vintage finals fashion, with participants being afforded a week of rest due to a rare bye round not often seen in Gawler's softball playoffs history.
The halt in action this weekend comes as a result of the Junior State Championships being held in Berri in South Australia's Riverland region, which Ingram also previewed.
Ingram also reminded listeners about the upcoming Presentation Day, to be held at Karbeethan Reserve on Sunday the 19th of March.
