Football expert Johnny Moore unwraps another weekend of drama in the English Premier League

Flow's football expert Johnny Moore phoned in from London to unwrap another weekend of drama in the English Premier League on the Flow Sports Hour this week.

The biggest talking point from last weekend was Manchester United breaking their agonising trophy drought after taking care of this season's UK dark horse Newcastle United in the EFL Cup at Wembley Stadium.

Moore also touched on the issues plaguing London giants Chelsea - with goal scoring a troublesome theme for the Stamford Bridge club in 2022/23.

Elsewhere around the traps, Moore painted a bleak picture for the blue side of Merseyside, with Everton continuing to falter; this time at home against Aston Villa, while on the other end of the table, high-flyers Arsenal continued to set the benchmark domestically with a slim win over Leicester City.

Manchester City did their bit to stay on the Gunners' heels, while Liverpool fired a blank away at Crystal Palace, with Moore admitting he 'regretted' taking the time out to watch the match.
