Prominent Flow FM sports personality Bruce Phillips is revelling in his platform's recent success after taking out a top gong at SACA's Community Cricket Awards.

Murraylands Football And Netball Sporting Results (MFLTV) took out the Technology And Media Initiative of the Year award, which SACA's website lists as recognising 'a match official (such as a scorer, team manager, umpire) who leads by example in championing safe, fair and enjoyable cricket for all'.

Phillips' platform has enjoyed a large volume of viewers who have the opportunity to immerse themselves in dedicated local sports coverage every week, by an amateur crew, mastering an operation that is more in line with professional sports broadcasting standards.

On the Flow FM Friday Sports Show, Phillips detailed how much work and preparation his son Lachlan is tasked with each week just to ensure live streamed country sport is served to the platform's loyal viewers.
