People of Florida 04 - Jason "JaFleu" Fleurant from West Palm Beach and Guest Storyteller Denyse Cunningham from Ft. Lauderdale

Today, I'll introduce you to Jason "JaFleu" Fleurant--a cartoonist from West Palm Beach. He's a son of Haitian immigrants who has chartered a path to success through his paint, pen, and pencils as the artist and founder of Treal Toonz. Then, our storyteller is Denyse Cunningham, Curator from Ft. Lauderdale's Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. She'll be telling us about how the family behind one of Florida's most iconic historic estates--the Birches and the Bartletts--helped preserve a bit of Florida's natural history. And, at the end, I'll share another personal story pulled from my life. But, in what I can only imagine will be a rarity, the story I'm sharing actually ties in BOTH of today's guests.
