On the second episode of Flogging a Dead Podcast (the podcast that bravely takes about all of the stuff other podcasts already talk about,) Mitch and Dave talk about the new Pokemon game that came out this past Friday. Dave has seen to have taken a liking to it. Despite being a 3DS game, it has no 3D capability (and not a single person on earth cared.) Seriously though, it’s evident Nintendo and Game Freak were not afraid to make some changes to the Pokemon formula this time around. Dave has the details.

Graphics cards are exploding. For serious. Is your computer affected? IS YOUR FAMILY AT RISK?!? If you have a non reference EVGA 1070 or 1080, you may want to consider not using it until it is replaced.

Mitch saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a special effect packed beast of a motion picture, that sticks to the Harry Potter theme and message, without pandering to the audience by reusing any of the main series Harry Potter characters. Mitch is then informed that they’re planning on making FIVE of these Fantastic Beasts movies, and disappointment is had.
