Anima is the third solo album from Thom Yorke, it is also a short 15 minute film featuring the tracks Not the News, Traffic and Dawn Chorus. As you’d expect from Thom Yorke Anima is a surreal, dreamlike journey that starts of a dreary, commuter train and ends with hope (?) on a bus in the morning light and in between there is gravity defying dancing.
Scores [supsystic-tables id=124] The end result is a beautiful collaboration of music and cinema, it is a joy to see Thom Yorke dance aided by some incredible choreography from Damien Jalet.
