When you hear yourself saying, "I know that thoughts cause your actions and results, but ...," then I want you to stop and consider that this basic tool maybe the exact tool you need to master. We want to jump to harder things, more advanced moves, trickier skills, but despite the big tricks, we always need the basics. The foundational basics will serve your future use of all the other tools in life and in your sport. When it comes to thought work, the basic tool is the CTFAR model. Don't dismiss the importance of mastering the basics continually as you work on higher and more advanced tools.
