Christopher Lambrianou was a brief member of "The Firm" (notably the Kray Twins, from the East End of London) who dominated London's underworld in the 1960s.Chris was present at the murder of Jack McVitie, receiving a sentence of life imprisonment with a recommendation to serve at least fifteen years in 1969, together with his younger brother, Tony Lambrianou.

A career criminal, after serving his fifteen years in prison for helping to dispose of Jack McVitie's body, Chris Lambrianou was determined to go straight and worked at The Ley Community, a drug rehabilitation centre.

In this recent conversation with Joshua Francis, Joshua asks Chris ... "you are such a nice person, what happened in 1983 ?" ... Chris replied "God happened" and laughed. He does not give that answer to the media because they do not understand it. But Chris is a changed man, through the power of the Holy Spirit ... and in his 80s he is actively trying to raise funding the prevent the closure of the "The Ley Community", www.leycommunity.co.uk, a Christian rehabilitation centre in Oxford  which, as Chris says, can reform hardened criminals in ways that prison cannot.

In this detailed interview, well researched by Joshua Francis  Chris talks about his whole life, although he does also reveal some detail of his criminal activities which we suspect he has not talked about before. The programme includes a song "Lay off of The Ley" written by Joshua and Chris which they hope will raise interest and sympathy for the Ley Community as it struggles for its very existence.
