Dr. Cabral is a Naturopathic, Ayurvedic, and Functional Medicine doctor — don't worry, he explains what all that means during our conversation — who is "on a mission to change the way we view our health and body." Dr. Cabral's mission spawned out of his own battle with debilitating health issues that started when he was a teenager, to which modern medicine offered no relief.

 

He's the author of The Rain Barrel Effect, and in this episode, he and I discuss modern lifestyle and its detrimental effects on our bodies, and how he believes a more natural approach to healing holds a lot of the answers that we seek when it comes to getting relief from chronic illness.
