VBS

VBS is underway!
A note from Pastor Brad and FBC Staff:
We have had an amazing start to our VBS. This year’s theme is Hero Hotline, and the building was filled with Superheroes and Sidekicks. VBS workers (Sidekicks) were well prepared and ready to share fun, excitement, Jesus’ love, and His gospel. Parents were smiling as they dropped off their kiddos, entrusting them to our capable VBS Team. New families joined us for the first time. And the kids (Superheroes) came geared up for a week of songs, crafts, snacks, games, and learning about Jesus.

Even if you weren’t here, you are definitely one of our Sidekicks! Your mission, should you choose to accept it (oh who am I kidding, ya know you’ll accept it) is to go before God’s throne each day and PRAY! Pray for what, you may ask? We’re glad you asked. Your daily Mission Briefing is here. These prayer sheets were handed Sunday morning (yesterday) before our Main Session, so you might already have one! On this Mission Briefing you’ll find each day’s lesson, Bible verse, and specific things to pray for that day.

God will do amazing things in the lives of these Superheroes this week, and we pray He draw to Himself those superheroes and families who don’t yet know Jesus! Join us in bringing these requests to Him, and come next Sunday at 9:30 AM as we celebrate His work through this year’s VBS.

We sure hope you will make sure to join us on Sunday morning for a FABULOUS VBS Celebration! Our VBS Staff will be taking over the Main Session and we will be welcoming many of the VBS families and children to join us as we celebrate the week’s activities. Afterwards we will all get to join in a fun celebration brunch, so come and be ready to celebrate!
