Can God us conflict within ministry for good? Often He does. This week's sermon is divided into two parts:
1) The Struggles of Gospel Teamwork- Paul and Barnabas have a sharp disagreement over Mark and separate. There is good here though- 1) it gives us a realistic picture and therefore expectations for the church 2) it results in two teams of missionaries instead of one 3) it teaches us about restoration as Mark is eventually restored and affirmed by Paul.
2) The Sweetness of Gospel Teamwork- the episode with Timothy points to the importance and sweetness of companions in ministry. Paul bringing on Timothy resulted in tons of fruit for the gospel.
