Our guest this week is producer, writer, director AISLING CHIN-YEE! We met up during a super crazy festival schedule, and I feel so lucky that we got to make time for each other. Her directorial feature film debut, THE REST OF US, premiered at TIFF in 2019, and now is coming out in U.S. theatres and on V-O-D on February 14th starring Heather Graham, Sophie Nélisse, and Jodi Balfour. She’s produced award-winning documentaries, and in addition to her killer storytelling, she co-founded the #AfterMeToo movement. We talked about synesthesia, directing, laughing at funerals, her personal journey, tending to your “brain garden,” dealing with grief and the pursuit of human nature.
