So I've been a firefighter for 10 years now. I still remember the feeling the day I got knocked back from the Fire Service. Back then you got to WEBA in the post--an old school sort of thing. I still remember how bad that felt and once I was able to get through that and spend another year of my life getting a job, there was still nothing out there to help people in my position. I just had to do something about that because it would have saved me a year of my life.
