About Curtis Cox: 

Curtis Cox has been a devoted advocate for education and personal development for the past 15 years. Curtis is born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Curtis graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2004 with a double major in Business Management and Black Studies. After college Curtis spent the next 13 years working for various non-profit organizations. From the experiences, Curtis became dedicated to empowering high school, college, and young adult individuals. He believes in not only being career-ready but more life ready. Curtis' current role is College and Career Coach for NYC DOE's pathway to graduation program in which he helps individuals from the ages of 17-21 acquire post-secondary opportunities and resources.He recently launched his own career coaching platform, Curtis Careers where he is working with college students and young adult clients acquire the skills needed to maximize their professional goals. Curtis' advising specialties include: Job Search Techniques, Career and College Exploration, Self Assessments, Resume Writing, Personal Branding, Social and Career Networking, Cover Letters, LinkedIn Profile Development, Interview Prep and Methods
