The Week Ahead

On Friday, the government will release the June employment report. Last month's report brought disappointing numbers, with only 54,000 new jobs created. Looking even further ahead, next week, companies will begin reporting how much they earned in the second-quarter.

Kelly Evans, who writes Ahead of the Tape for the Wall Street Journal, will preview the week ahead in business.
