In this episode we talk with Chef Andrew Gruel. He is the owner of Slapfish Restaurant Group. He has made appearances as a judge on "Food Truck Face Off" and was a host on "Say it to My Face". We discuss what drove him to go into food service and the lessons he learned working the overnight shift at Denny's.
Recently, Chef Gruel has become a fundraiser for out of work hospitality workers. To date, he has raised over $300k to help needy workers and families for everything from utility payments to rent.
