Alan and I both really like Reese Witherspoon in Alexander Payne’s Election (1999). Pick Flick!
Alexander Payne did in fact direct Sideways (2004). He and Jim Taylor even won the Academy Award for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for the film.
