Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film.

Episode fourteen is a conversation with up-and-coming director Sasha Leigh Henry whose previous short film Bitches Love Brunch screened at festivals internationally before being acquired by CBC Gem. Her newest short film Sinking Ship is premiering at TIFF this year. We discuss her thoughts on motivating crew on short films, working with actors, and forming connections in the industry, among other things.
