Blake Lively: An Exhaustive Examination

Episode 8 - The Town (2010)

Krista Coughlin is a Charlestown, Boston, native (with the accent to prove it), known to frequent local drinking establishments and "pal" around with the city's criminal element. She and ex-boyfriend (?) Doug have a playfully antagonistic relationship. A real will they, won't they get back together vibe.
But trouble is soon brewing when Doug becomes taken with a bank manager after he robs her bank (not a euphemism) and briefly kidnaps her.
Krista, a single mother (is it Doug's kid?) with a drinking problem, is happy to maintain her association with Doug and his criminal gang, which includes Krista's brother, as they continue their life of bank robberies and neighborhood barbecues.
Krista and Doug briefly reconnect as he considers a career change, and she provides him with some clarity about his options.
Krista's life is soon thrust into chaos when she meets a handsome stranger at the local watering hole who turns out to be a FBI agent. He tries to entrap her with handsome trickery.
Frustrated and scared, she confronts Doug, wanting to run away with him and start a new life.  Doug rebuffs her offer and she is driven into a rage of booze and drugs and a car accident. At the hospital, handsome FBI man offers her a deal... She never sees Doug again.
