Fumi Saito & Justin Knipper jumped into the second part of their latest profile series on Riki Choshu on today’s episode, starting things off with a discussion on Choshu’s 1984 jump from NJPW to Japan Pro Wrestling/AJPW. They also went over Choshu’s 60-minute draw with Jumbo Tsuruta, working with Bruiser Brody in AJPW, his jump back to NJPW in 1987 and the infamous incident with Akira Maeda. They also talked a bit about the second phase of his career as NJPW booker in the late ’90s, which is where Fumi & Justin will pick up from on next week’s episode.
