On the final episode of their miniseries on the History of Joshi Pro Wrestling, Fumi Saito and Justin Knipper talked Akira Hokuto and Shinobu Kandori’s legendary matchup, AJW vs. LLPW, Chigusa Nagayo’s comeback and later Lioness Asuka’s comeback in ’94 and the launch of GAEA Japan in 1995. They also talked about the eventual fallout of AJW and the initial splinter groups that came out of the split like ARSION, Oz Academy, NEO Ladies, and later Stardom, Wave, Sendai Girls, Seadlinnng, plus they went over “the Dark Ages” and into the modern era of joshi pro wrestling.
