Today is the final episode of Fumi & Justin’s legacy showcase on Giant Baba, the fourth part in the series. They focused on Baba as full-fledged AJPW promoter during the late ’80s into the ’90s and talked about the promotional strategies he employed, including his (and Inoki’s) clever use of Tokyo Sports and Japanese sports press outlets. The two also discussed Baba’s booking style and creative decisions, especially when it came to the Triple Crown and to wrestlers like Genichirio Tenryu, Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi, among others.
