Paul Fontaine and Ryan Frederick are back to go over the week that was and is to come in the world of MMA on the latest episode of In the Clinch. The two top pound for pound fighters in the world squared off in Perth and Islam Makhachev retained his lightweight title in a very close fight over featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. The guys break that down and discuss what's next for both fighters, as well as Yair Rodriguez who won the interim featherweight belt in the night's co-main. They then preview a show this coming weekend from the Apex which had a late change to the main event with Jessica Andrade stepping in to face uber prospect Erin Blanchfield in a pivotal flyweight fight. They also talk Jens Pulver going into the Hall of Fame, some news on the upcoming Ultimate Fighter Season and just who Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler may be facing and some big fight announcements including more UFC on the road and out of the Apex.
