Hey, Guy's I'm HoM_Philocypher and this next topic has not only improved my ability to play fighting games and improved my quality of life.
This is a topic I've wanted to talk about for a long time but haven't quite known how to talk about it.
Recently I came across a fellow member of the FGC that, was, also an expert in meditation.
His content has even been talked about on Shoryuken.com
I wanted to know more about what he had to say about meditation helping with someone's ability to play.
Meditation is not foreign to many gamers. We've all seen characters like Dhalsim and even Ryu meditating before, but how many of us have done it ourselves?
If you've tried meditating let me know in the comments below how it went.
The following Conversation helped me see the value in meditation specifically for playing competitively.
There is a form called mindfulness meditation, and it has had fantastic results not just in fighting games, but in many other high-level skill sports.
It's also a key technique when for avoiding tilting.
