This time on the Ffffing 40s we are joined by some amazing guests, but first, we have to share our fundraiser in support of the Blind Beggar Smokehouse, we need to help this local venue keep their doors open.

We chatted with Jim Baxter, professional musician who performed his first gig back in 1983. Jim talks about how his stint taxi driving really helped him to break down the barrier between performer and audience while writing and playing music. Jim also teaches guitar, links below!

We also check in with Garrett Barbuto, who has spent a lot of time playing music, coincidentally with our first guest, Jim. Garrett is focusing on introspection and dedicating himself to music and self improvement.

We then speak with our third musician of the show, Brandon Lorenzo, local choirboy turned country musician. Brandon’s initial experience with music came from Opera before he found his feet in country music. Brandon has some currently unreleased music which is scheduled to be released soon, Brandon is also playing a gig tomorrow night, tickets below.

Next up is Travis of Joshua’s Habit, a band since 2002, they are just coming back after a little break with some brand new music. They will also be touring two albums, just in time for the dust to settle after the pandemic.

We round out the show with Collen Middleton of Bent Roads Tavern, set to release their new album, Clear Nights, Bright Lights for which they are adding finishing touches early next year, along with a full tour.
