Raised in Long Beach, California. My parents were both small business owners and highly influenced me as I watched their unique styles and competitive drive. In 1999 I joined the family business with no intention of staying rather helping finalize a much-needed marketing overhaul.
In the process, I got addicted to the idea that I could make an event better by bringing vision, design, style, simplifying the planning process and delivering a one-stop experience. In 2007 I bought a small rental company in the South Bay and changed the name to Choura Events.

A new vision was casted that promoted creativity v.s order taking and a new team was developed that was fired up to take on the old guard of a boring event industry.

10 years later, we have built up an incredible inventory of tenting, furniture, table top and staging by acquiring new companies such as Bixby Knolls Party Rentals, Hollywood Tent Works and Classic Tents

Choura Events has gone back-to-back as a Top 30 Rental Company in the Nation by Special Events Magazine and a Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Company by the Los Angeles Business Journal. 

I’m so thankful for those who have taken a risk with us including the Golden Globes, Tesla, USGA, Summer X Games, ESPYS, Pebble Beach, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Building a vision/business comes with high highs and low lows. I’ve always approached the journey openly and enjoy talking to next-gen entrepreneurs, leaders, and just those who are willing to work hard to achieve their dreams.
