This week the world's #1 Muisc Festival podcast & talk show explores the world's most anticipated festival, Coachella! Yes, it's that time of year again where the flower crowns and urban outfitter sold garbs rule the southern california streets. Taking over the small town of Indio, CA and transforming it into the top festival destination.
It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Live as of 2001.
"The festival's origins trace back to a 1993 concert that Pearl Jam performed at the Empire Polo Club while boycotting venues controlled by Ticketmaster. The show validated the site's viability for hosting large events, leading to the inaugural Coachella Festival's being held over the course of two days in October 1999—just three months after Woodstock '99."
This week we feature the music of three lesser known artists we feel everyone should take notice to including:
Bishop Briggs
Joseph
Taco Cat
