Welcome to the Female Founder Friday podcast, a collection of inspiring conversations with the most interesting female entrepreneurs and small business owners. I’m your host, Lindsay White and together with my incredible guests we’ll explore the struggles of being a female entrepreneur, the most important lessons, and the future of women leaders in business.

Speaking of struggles, one of the biggest challenges that so many of my clients are experiencing right now is this feeling of isolation.  Let’s be honest it’s lonely being an entrepreneur, and even if you have a team, you many not have a community around you that truly understands what it’s like to be a business owner.

That’s why I’ve created the Inner Circle group program.  It’s a specially curated group experience that’s designed specifically for female entrepreneurs as a space to create connection, build confidence, share our collective wisdom, and build our leadership.  It’s a safe space to talk about the hard stuff.  If this sounds like the right place for you, check it out at

My guest this week is Rachel Firth. Rachel is the Managing Director of Global Office Consulting and founder of Women In Dev, Rachel and her team at Global Office Consulting provide NGOs with accessible consultancy services to support global health and gender equality initiatives. So cool! Like so many Female Founders, Rachel has experienced the impacts of burn-out as she tried to balance building a business focused on social impact, and having a family.  And she has come to recognize that her own leadership has an incredible impact on how her whole team and business performs.  There’s lots of great nuggets in today’s conversation that I know you’ll all connect to and appreciate.

To everyone tuning in today, thank you for listening to the ‘Female Founder Friday’ Podcast. I was really inspired by Rachel’s commitment to creating a great people strategy in her business, and the commitment she shows to creating a culture of feedback.  Even when that feedback is calling her out!  I’d love to hear what you thought of today’s episode so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.  You can find Rachel and her amazing team at  globalofficeconsulting.com, and you can connect with me on Instagram @highvoltleadership.
