*This Week's message was interrupted by a sudden loss of power during service.*
After Peter's Denial of Jesus, we don't hear much about the disciples until the final hours of Jesus' life. While Jesus is hanging on the cross there is a small group of people mention by name, among them are his mother and John. As Jesus has gone through the worst moments of His earthly life, John has remained steadfast and loyal. In some of His final moments recorded in Scripture, Jesus gives entrust Mary and John to one another. Mother to son, and son to mother. We see a new family, based not on our blood but on His blood and the redemption that it has bought us in Him. And once all things had been fulfilled, sin had been fully paid for, and His work had been completed, Jesus cried out, "It is FINISHED" and gave up His spirit.
Join us this week as we see the final moments of Jesus' life on Earth, see how we have become children in God's family through receiving Jesus -- whose FINISHED work on the cross was the complete payment for sin and provision for our salvation.
