The Force is Strong With Her: A Conversation with Disney Royalty Ashley Eckstein

This is the year of celebrations! Actor Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano, sat down with us for our two-year anniversary episode of Father.Son.Galaxy. Ashley reflects on the challenges pursuing her dream of becoming an actor and achieving her first big break by starring in "That's So Raven" which premiered on the Disney Channel twenty years ago.

Earlier in 2023, Ashley reunited with the cast of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” at Emerald City Comic Con to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the film and Cartoon Network series. Ashley discusses her iconic portrayal of Ahsoka Tano, the character’s journey, and the emotional rollercoaster that ended with Ahsoka’s decision to leave the Jedi Order. We dive into a deeper conversation about the classic episode, “The Wrong Jedi” the Season 5 finale that aired for the first time ten years ago.

Ashley also shares her experiences launching Her Universe, a successful clothing line, and her involvement with "Star Wars: Mindful Matters," a series of shorts that teach young viewers meditation and good mental health.
