Hi guys, Christina here for your Faster Fluency Conversation Club podcast. The start of a new summer month. It's July. My birthday's at the end of this month, so I'm very excited about that. But that's not the topic of today's episode today. We're talking about summer vacation and where you went on vacation as a kid. And today I'm with Karyn. Karyn, how are you doing?

Karyn:

I'm doing wonderful. Happy birthday.

Christina:

Yeah, thank you.

Karyn:

In July.

Christina:

I was like, it's at the end of the month, but it's coming up. I'm counting down the days. Very happy about that. Anyways, today we're going to talk about places that we went on vacation when we were kids growing up in the US. Actually, I was going to say, you're in Georgia now, but are you originally from Georgia?

Karyn:

I grew up in Philadelphia.

Christina:

Okay.

Karyn:

I would go on vacation as a kid, we would go down to the Jersey Shore.

Christina:

Mm.

Karyn:

I think they made a show about that. But every summer we would go to Atlantic City or we would go to Wildwood. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. They had rides there.

Christina:

Yeah.

Karyn:

There was the boardwalk in Atlantic City, so it was a lot of fun.
