Matt is a Brockton, MA firefighter and with his historic victory, earned exemptions into the 2018 Masters Tournament and 2018 U.S. Open. He finished T48 in the U.S. Open this year, beating world-class players like Jason Day, Matt Kuchar, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, and of course the most noteworthy: Tiger Woods.
