Okay, we know that the Joel Embiid injury will be giving his owners some anxiety in the next couple of days, but let's wait for the official diagnosis and timetable before making any decisions on Embiid. Having said that, Ben Simmons could feast in Embiid's absence and if you own Embiid, hopefully you already picked up Dwight Howard as a handcuff in case Embiid misses weeks. (UPDATE: Woj reports as I write this, that the injury looks to just be a bone bruise with no structural damage. Looks like good news!)

Anthony Davis, meanwhile will still be out for about a couple of weeks more. That gives Kyle Kuzma continued value, though he may still be very inconsistent. Another news today is the trade the Detroit Pistons made for Hamidou Diallo. We know that Diallo has the potential to be a fantasy stud when given minutes, but the question is, given the Pistons' depth in the SG and SF position, will he be given the chance to play?

Commish and I also discuss in length the Houston Rockets' potential abundance of fantasy relevant players. The Rockets' are really bad and I'm not sure what will be their incentive to play John Wall, Victor Oladipo and Christian Wood. Of course it is early in the season still, but come fantasy playoffs, the Rockets', as well as the Minnesota Timberwolves', pool of talent could be the difference maker for your team.
