Daily Fantasy Quickie (February 23, 2021) - DMC to the Lakers? Drop Derrick White?

Quinn Cook was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers today. This might not seem to be an exciting news from the fantasy front but this move has many speculating that Demarcus Cousins will join the Lakers soon. We still don’t know if that will happen so those DMC owners should wait and see as it seems like a change of team for Cousins will happen any day now.

The Washington Wizards are on a 5-game winning streak. This is good news for Bradley Beal owners who have been anxious for a possible trade just a few weeks ago. Looks like Beal and Russell Westbrook have hit their stride. One player who is not hitting his is Davis Bertans. Another string of bad games could just force his owners to drop him.

Lebron James has said he isn’t tired, and rest is not something he thinks about. But with how the Lakers have struggled lately, it is concerning to see him play a lot of minutes and doing a lot of things on the court. He is 36 and doing too much might make him vulnerable to you know…I don’t want to say it, but you know starts with “I” and ends with “Y”. Anyway, let’s hope help comes really soon, which brings me back to Quinn Cook being waived.
