Ep. 27: Director of Silent Night, Camille Griffin

Camille Griffin is a writer, director, and co-producer. She has written and directed seven short films that screened at over 20 international film festivals and makes her feature film directorial debut with Silent Night. 

In this episode, Hooman and Chris dive deep into Silent Night and how it parodies Camille's own life. Camille brings an intentional political incorrectness to the film in order to expose how the privileged get away with a lot in society... and perhaps even more behind closed doors. The film shows the microaggressions present in everyday life without the need to walk on eggshells. In fact, no one walks on eggshells in the film; it's the end of the world!

Silent Night is a Comedy/Horror starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Roman Griffin Davis, Annabelle Wallis, and Lily-Rose Depp. In true British fashion, (while the rest of the world faces impending doom), a group of old friends reunite to celebrate Christmas in the comfort of an idyllic country home. Burdened with the inconvenience of mankind’s imminent destruction, they adopt a stiff upper lip, crack open another bottle of prosecco and continue with their festivities. But no amount of stoicism can replace the courage needed for their last night on earth.

SILENT NIGHT is available in theaters and AMC+ on December 3rd.
