For so many of us growing up in the 1980s, Full House was a huge part of the ABC TGIF lineup and with every classic sitcom, a wacky neighbor was needed. Enter the then teenager Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler. Gibbler was not only the weirdo next door but the best friend to Candace Cameron Bure' DJ Tanner.

Faster forward 20 years since the original incarnation's cancellation and Netflix creates a sequel series entitled Fuller House, where DJ is now a widow and not only her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), but Barber returns as the even more zany, now semi-responsible and divorced mother, Kimmy Gibbler who finally got to live her dream of being a resident of the Tanner household.

We caught up with Barber who discusses the second series, motherhood, how much fun it was to work with people who she's been friends with since Barber was 10 years old, the most Kimmy Gibbler level of embarrassment she puts her own kids through and her hopes of of a Fullest House in another 20 years.

The final nine episodes of Fuller House begin streaming on Netflix, Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
