To round out the first week of our 1 year lap around Australia we are exploring Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt region, discovering its delicious food and wine culture. Katie & Jasper hunt and gather some delicious treats to enjoy a picnic overlooking the Severn River, where we are camped up off grid at the Country Style Caravan Park.
Plus Paul ticks off a long awaited bucket list item climbing us to the top of the Pyramid in Girraween National Park, a 3.6km return Grade 4 walk including 536 steps and a steep scramble up the massive granite boulder to the summit. This is definitely one of the best and most adventurous hikes we have done together as a family to date!
